ABOUT US

Summer Home Care is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering safe, respectful, and person-centred support to individuals with diverse support needs.

Our team consists of experienced support workers who have extensive hands-on experience supporting participants with complex care needs, including individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. We are skilled in the safe use of mobility and personal care equipment such as hoists and shower commodes, always following individual support plans, risk assessments, and best practice guidelines.

In relation to daily care and health-related supports, our support workers have received professional training in medication assistance, ensuring medications are administered safely, accurately, and in accordance with each participant’s plan, while maintaining dignity and choice at all times. We also have experience supporting participants with communication difficulties, including those with speech, cognitive, or expressive challenges, and we adapt our communication methods to suit each individual.

We understand the importance of language and cultural awareness in providing quality support. Our team is able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and selected dialects, helping participants feel comfortable, understood, and supported—particularly those from Chinese-speaking backgrounds.

Our primary service areas include Ipswich, Brisbane, Logan and more. We work closely with participants, families, and support coordinators to ensure our services align with individual goals, NDIS plans, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework.

At Summer Home Care, we believe quality support is not just about completing tasks—it is about building trust, understanding individual needs, and supporting people to live with dignity and confidence.
